Experienced Livestock Handler


We are currently seeking an experienced Cattle Stockperson and Livestock Handler to join our team at our Kelly St facility.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, and sorting of livestock to ensure daily production requirements are met within our processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving, handling, moving, and sorting cattle
  • Preparing livestock to meet daily production schedules

  • Maintaining high standards of animal welfare at all times

  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures, supplier requirements, and regulatory standards

  • Working closely with management and team members to support operational goals

  • Completing basic livestock and operational record keeping

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Previous experience working with cattle and livestock handling
  • Strong understanding of animal welfare practices and compliance requirements
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Basic computer skills (preferred but not essential)
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability

Working Hours:

  • Primarily day shift with early starts
  • Monday to Friday
  • Some Saturday mornings may be required depending on operational needs
